“You’ll meet the people who made my life so interesting: from Rock Hudson to Ronald Reagan. From Lynda “Wonder Woman” Carter to Barry Goldwater. From Cesar Chavez to Lee Atwater, and more. I’ve been a part of nine presidential campaigns, and more Senate, gubernatorial, congressional and state and local campaigns than I can count. I’ve represented Fortune 500 companies and worked with environmental groups. I’ve made friends with the hotel workers union and enemies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). I’ve supported Hillary Clinton and gone after Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. I’ve been featured in one of the most famous commercials of all time, and I’ve had my life threatened. And perhaps most interesting of all, I led a dual existence for the first fifty-six years of my life.”
It’s a page-turner and one you won’t want to miss reading.
For the last two years we’ve been calling on President Obama to end both wars and bring our service members home from Iraq and Afghanistan. I was particularly pleased to watch the announcement that we will be leaving Iraq by the end of the year.
As we wind down both wars, and hopefully cut our military spending, I hope that Americans will respond by hiring our returning veterans. Businesses large and small, along with labor and individuals should make a huge effort to hire these brave veterans. There are many web sites to facilitate this and these heroes will not let you down!
This just came out. I was a guest on Comedy Central’s, “Indecision” in New York last week. I was interviewed by Mary Phillips-Sandy in their SoHo studios. I think you’ll enjoy it:
Make sure you watch it past what appears to be the end. There’s a fun surprise.
Thanks to all at Comedy Central for making the interview possible!

DERRY, NH – It was a beautiful Fall day and we were led by the incredible Kirk the Bagpiper on his home turf. We spent a lot of time walking all over this beautiful New Hampshire town last Saturday and ended up downtown to be part of the Halloween festivities. So many kids and so many Frisbees to give away. It was a great day. We spoke to lots of New Hampshire voters who are ready for new leadership. Here are some of the photos:
