I am writing to inform all parties that I have attained the 2% threshold in a national poll, which would qualify me for the October 11, 2011 Bloomberg-Washington Post Debate. On August 4, 2011 Harris Interactive released a study showing me at 2% – tied with Governor’s Jon Huntsman and Tim Pawlenty and ahead of Rick Santorum and Gary Johnson. Harris is one of the longest running and most respected names in the polling industry. Bloomberg and Washington Post regularly report the findings of Harris Interactive Polls.
As the candidate who has spent the most time in New Hampshire, leased a house in Manchester for seven months, given 10 speeches at Dartmouth and is even a legacy and beat 18 other candidates in the St. Anselm Straw Poll, I would hope that Bloomberg and the Washington Post would let me in to your October 11th Debate.
I pledge to be respectful of the process, my fellow Republican candidates and my presence would be great for ratings. I look forward to hearing from you, and hope to see you in Hanover next week.
